Job summary

CIMB Singapore is seeking an experienced Data Analytics professional to lead performance tracking, channel analytics and incentive design. The role requires building dashboards, analyzing channel performance and presenting data-driven recommendations to drive sales growth.

You will work with Sales and cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable business strategies, leveraging SQL, Python or R and BI tools like Tableau/Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years in performance tracking or analytics.
• Strong knowledge of sales channel analytics and BI tooling.
• Proficient in SQL, Python or R and data visualization platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop channel-specific dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics, such as customer acquisition costs and channel efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate channel performance, use data insights to recommend strategies for optimizing channel utilization and boosting sales acquisitions.

Sales Channel Analytics

• Analyze sales performance across various channels to understand acquisition trends and identify high-impact areas.
• Develop channel-specific dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics, such as customer acquisition costs and channel efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth analysis to evaluate channel performance, use data insights to recommend strategies for optimizing channel utilization and boosting sales acquisitions.

Sales Incentive design and calculation

• Develop and manage incentive schemes aligned with channel-specific sales goals and overall revenue targets.
• Accurately calculate incentive payouts and ensure timely submission.
• Regularly assess the effectiveness of incentive programs and recommend data-driven adjustments to maximize performance.
• Support Sales and HR teams in all incentives related matters.

Business Analytics and Performance Reporting

• Conduct comprehensive business performance analysis, identifying trends and insights to support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track key metrics related to sales, revenue growth and business performance.
• Monitor business performance against targets and generate insights to inform strategy adjustments.
• Present analytical findings to stakeholders in a clear, visual and actionable insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders, including Sales and other businesses, to understand their analytical needs, provide support, and guide decision-making processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Interpret data and present findings to stakeholders, making recommendations to enhance business outcome.

Innovation and Best Practices

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the banking and wealth management sectors to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics or related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in performance tracking and business analytics. Knowledge of sales channel analytics
• Proven expertise in analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Relevant Work Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics
• Strong analytical skills and good knowledge of the banking industry, especially in Consumer Business area, covering Deposits, Wealth Management, Card, Loan
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards in the banking sector is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
