Job description

What You will Do

1. Data Analysis and Visualization: Collect, analyse, and maintain dashboards to monitor vessel performance across various parameters including:

- PMS, VM Inspections, PSC, SIRE, LTIs, SFR etc.

- Performance summary of individual fleet groups Tech and Ops

- Analysis of Incidents

2. OPEX Monitoring: Track and analyse fleet OPEX, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.

3. Reporting: Prepare monthly and ad-hoc reports for both internal and external stakeholders.

4. Technical Data Visualization and Benchmarking: Interpret technical management data, generate comparative insights across the fleet, and prepare reports/presentations for management, including industry benchmarking.

5. Technical Report Support: Assist the team in compiling technical reports for various stakeholders.

6. Budget Assistance: Support management in year-end fleet expense analysis for budget preparation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Maritime studies with good knowledge of Data Science, Statistic, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a corporate environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python, etc.).
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage and familiarity with AI.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
