Financial Oversight:
- Lead and manage financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for supply chain operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, with a focus on supply chain cost management.
- Collaborate with the procurement, logistics, and production teams to drive cost reduction strategies and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Cost Management & Optimization:
- Develop and implement cost control measures across procurement, inventory, and logistics to optimize overall supply chain financial performance.
- Monitor and evaluate variances between actual costs and budgeted costs, providing actionable insights for corrective actions.
Supply Chain Finance Analytics:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of supply chain processes, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Implement financial models to support decision-making and provide insights into the profitability of supply chain operations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, company policies, and supply chain contracts.
- Implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard assets within the supply chain.
- Conduct regular audits of supply chain operations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
Reporting & KPIs:
- Develop and track key financial and operational performance metrics (KPIs) related to supply chain activities.
- Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into supply chain performance and financial impact.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, operations and sales, to streamline financial processes within the supply chain.
- Work closely with freight forwarder, barge suppliers, carriers, breakbulk suppliers and assist Supply chain head for negotiations on rate contracts for all the activities under supply chain management.
- Provide financial leadership and support for supply chain-related projects and strategic initiatives. This position works closely with business FC’s.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial control and reporting accuracy across the supply chain.
- Drive initiatives to integrate advanced financial tools and systems for better supply chain visibility and control.
