What's the role?
As a Business Controller, you will collaborate with various functional stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Logistics) to drive Sustainable Value Creation through Rolling Forecast, Performance Management Cycle, Target Setting and Strategic projects.
What does the role involve?
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders and cross-functional teams, offering insights and recommendations to optimize financial performance
- Develop Annual Forecasts to assess financial risk/opportunities and investments viability
- Drive Performance Management Cycle by identifying root causes in performance gaps and propose corrective measures to optimize achievements
- Participate in Target Setting Process by working with Sales & Marketing to ensure targets are aligned with financial goals and operational strategy
- Support key projects (e.g. Fleet Profitability) by providing financial expertise and guidance.
- Laise with Shared Service Centre on Month-end closing topics
- Coordinate internal control/compliance activities across business functions
What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Related Field
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in similar Finance roles (e.g. FP&A, Controlling)
- Strong stakeholder management skills and enjoy collaboration with highly diverse teams
- Comfortable in navigating complex data and able to translate it in easily digestible insights
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point and reporting software (e.g. SAP FI, SAP Analytics, Tagetik)
- Ambition to develop a long-term finance career with Hilti through overseas opportunities
