What will you do as a Business Control Manager?
You will oversee and manage the Financial Reporting & Analysis workstream, Data Analytics, Insurance & Risk Management, Land Leases, Sustainability Reporting, and Stock Management. Your role is crucial in developing financial management tools and business dashboards to support management in making informed decisions.

At least 10 years of experience in financial accounting and team leadership
A degree or professional qualification in Accountancy
Membership in ISCA is preferred

Your core responsibilities include:
Developing and reviewing financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure compliance and good financial practice
Managing financial management and control processes
Owning the actual financial results, Budget, and Latest Estimates (LE)
Ensuring actual financial results meet or exceed the Budget
Providing accurate financial performance projections
Driving Data Analytics through visualization and dashboards
Developing KPIs for FP&A and ensuring their achievement
Resolving issues affecting deliverables and KPI performance
Financial evaluation and modeling of investment proposals to meet targeted IRR
Managing Operating Capex Spend to meet annual targets
Leading efforts to obtain investment incentives from EDB or IRAS
Ensuring proper control and governance for Sustainability Reporting and Stock Management
Leading internal and external audit processes
Acting as the main liaison with JTC and MapleTree
Managing IFRS 16 reporting requirements
Fostering business partnering reviews and operating rhythms with terminals and functions
Analyzing business performance through benchmarking and metrics
Implementing initiatives to enhance business performance and maximize Operating Cash Return
Developing tools and dashboards for leadership decision-making
Prioritizing capital allocation processes
Monitoring KPIs for business partnerships
Assessing sustainability performance and reducing utility consumption
Leading financial system upgrades and improvements
Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Training and coaching team members for operational efficiency
Managing and developing the team to ensure motivation and cohesion
Supporting talent development within the finance team
Developing resource backup plans and BCP
Encouraging adaptability and positive team culture amidst change
Fostering a performance-oriented culture aligned with HR guidelines and future readiness
