About the Role

We are looking for a finance professional to join my client's regional team as a Business Control, Finance & Audit Specialist. This role is at the heart of Asia Pacific operations, supporting leadership with financial reporting, compliance, and strategic insights. You’ll have the opportunity to partner with cross-functional teams across the region, providing recommendations that shape decision-making and business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.

  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across APAC.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

  • Provide clear financial insights to management and translate complex data into practical recommendations.

  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.

  • Support internal audit activities and contribute to risk management initiatives.

  • Present findings and strategic recommendations directly to senior leadership.

  • Overseas assignment 1-2 times a year, approximately 3-7 days each trip.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (required).

  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.

  • Around 5 years of relevant experience, ideally with regional exposure.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in presenting to executive management.
