The Partnership team in Business Banking is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance our ecosystem and deliver innovative solutions to our customers; we work closely with various stakeholders, including regional partners, to develop and execute embedded banking led partnership strategies that drive business growth and create value for our customers.

Job Overview/About the job role:

As Partnerships Manager in Business Banking, you will play a critical role involving origination, embedded banking experience design and build, and execution of corporate and digital platform partnerships. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to build relationships and drive initiatives that support the growth and scaling of MSME customer base and eventually improve the Life Time Value (LTV) of customers on-boarded through partnerships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Originate, manage and develop strategic partnerships:

    • Identify and evaluate opportunities with key partners to create embedded banking experiences with the aim to drive MSME customer acquisition at scale

    • Enhance the Bank’s overall customer value proposition via corporate and digital partner platforms;

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute on the identified ecosystem opportunities, including negotiating and securing partnership agreements and implementing collaboration initiatives;

    • Monitor and analyse partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions;

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners on an ongoing basis, fostering collaboration and driving mutual success.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Min 7 years + proven experience in partnership origination and embedded banking. Industry and / or embedded finance experience in e-commerce, logistics, accounting software, education or healthcare is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of regional strategies and ecosystem dynamics.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities aligned with business objectives.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
