Job summary

Thales in Singapore is seeking a Business App Support Intern to assist in the administration, maintenance, and support of Business Applications. This role ensures provisioning aligns with company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree/Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science, has VBA/VB Script experience, understands RPA concepts, and may have ERP exposure (SAP). Strong communication and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Information Systems or Computer Science related majors welcomed.
• Microsoft VBA/VB Script programming experience.
• Knowledge of RPA (Robotics Process Automation) solutions.
• Any ERP experience (SAP) will be a plus.
• Willing to learn new things.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Business Applications based on end user’s requirements or ongoing needs while providing excellent customer service.
• Analyse system errors and work with end users and related business units to correct and/or assist in problem resolution.
• Help diagnose performance issues related to business applications and work with internal and external vendors in their resolution.
• Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments.
• Prepare user training document for business applications and associated processes with business departments

The Business App Support Intern will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of the Business Applications systems, and application components. This role will also participate in the planning and implementation of policies and procedures, to ensure system provisioning and maintenance is consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
