Purpose
The Business Analyst is aligned to support a region within our network (North America, Asia, Latin America and EMEA – Europe, Middle East and Africa). Responsible for partnering with regional and global stakeholders to analyze and optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and improve overall performance. Drive collaboration with cross-functional teams (i.e., Finance, Procurement, 3PLs, Consultants, etc.) to provide data-driven insights, implement solutions and support global projects that align with the organization’s strategy.
Responsibilities
- Identify and support data driven initiatives for supply chain optimization (i.e., Network, Inventory and Logistics) and influence strategic direction for global projects. Lead both regional and small center led projects.
- Develop, maintain and enhance data models, reporting systems and dashboards to monitor supply chain performance.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses to support day-to-day decision making.
- Stay abreast of industry/market trends, emerging technologies, best practices and assess impacts with regards to supply chain operations.
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns and uncover opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and supply chain partners to understand and translate business needs and complex data into actionable solutions.
- Efficiently communicate and support execution of SMO central led endeavors.
- Assist in requirement gathering, change and project management.
- Present insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders as well as conveying complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Support peers on strategic initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, in preferred fields such as Operations, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or similar work experience required.
- Ability to multi-task and work within timelines. Ability to organize and prioritize individual workflow
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and thrive in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
- Excellent organizational, process-oriented, critical thinking, communication and inter-personal skill required.
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills are required.
- Proven strong problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience in using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or PowerBI (data pulls, reporting development, scripts, data visualization, etc.)
- Persistent and resilient when confronted with obstacles, and resolves issues in a timely manner
- Ability to travel up to 5%, with limited travel internationally and accommodate global time-zones
