Job summary

Success IT Consultancy & Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical teams in delivering software solutions. You will elicit requirements, prepare functional specs, use cases and test plans, and coordinate testing activities with the QA team.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and supporting project plans to ensure on-time delivery up to production deployment. Candidates with SDLC/UAT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent.
• Typically 2–5 years of relevant working experience.
• Good understanding of SDLC processes and experience with UAT.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs, elicit and document requirements, and bridge business and technical teams.
• Liaise with IT teams and business users to analyze information needs and functional requirements; deliver specs, use cases, test strategy, and test cases.
• Prepare, maintain and communicate the functional documentation.
• Collaborate with development teams to transform requirements into solutions.
• Plan and execute SIT testing with QA; deliver tested products on time up to production deployment.
• Support UAT and assist project planning, schedules, and milestones.

Job description

Responsibilities

• As a Business Analyst, you are required to understand business needs, elicit and document requirements and be a key bridge between business and technical teams
• Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders (IT teams and business users) to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts: detailed functional specifications, use cases, test strategy and test cases (including entry and exit criteria)
• Prepare, maintain and communicate the above mentioned functional documentation.
• Analyze and transform business requirements into solutions with the help of Development teams.
• Plan, prepare and execute the testing strategy and tests(SIT) of the overall developed solutions alongside with the QA team.
• Deliver fully tested products on-time, up to production deployment.
• Follow up and support User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
• Support the project planning, schedules and milestones in coordination with project teams.

Requirement

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
• Typically 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and experience on UAT
