Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Business Analyst on a contract through to end-2028 to support the end-to-end transformation programme. You’ll work across technology, regulatory and operating model change, driving governance and measurable outcomes for customers and the business.

You will collaborate with senior executives, manage artefacts like RAID logs and project plans, and help align plans with HSBC strategy. A strong PM background and Agile delivery experience are advantageous.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Analyst (contract basis through to end-2028).

HSBC is seeking an Associate to support Project S, a complex end-to-end transformation programme, from design through implementation and embedding. You'll be a key member of a team driving delivery across technology, regulatory and operating model change, ensuring strong governance, disciplined controls, and measurable outcomes for customers, colleagues and the business. This is a role for an ambitious, high-performing individual who thrives in ambiguity, influences at the highest levels, and delivers at pace with rigour.

Inthis role you will:

• Support programme execution plans and drive outcomes: Support the development of the execution plan, workstream planning and governance artefacts, including executive updates and programme reporting aligned to HSBC strategy and governance.
• Governance support: Support steering forums and executive updates; help to create materials, clear decision pathways; escal...
• Budget, resource and vendor management: Support cost management, headcount planning and vendor performance against commercial, risk and delivery expectations.
• Support risk, control and compliance: Ensure robust risk/control management are followed, aligned to HSBC taxonomy and governance expectations.
• Own, create and manage program artefacts such as RAID logs, project plans, process flows along with change control processes

To be successful you will need:

• Strong track record of project management, organisational and planning skills
• Proven ability of working with cross-functional, multi-location teams
• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills, including engagement with senior executives and steering committees.
• Broad, enterprise-wide view of the organisation and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies and governance.
• Degree (or equivalent practical experience). Certifications such as PMP / Change Management / Six Sigma are advantageous.
• Familiarity with HSBC's ways of working, values and governance frameworks is beneficial; knowledge of DAP, Value Stream leadership and FSA, expert-level Agile/iterative delivery experience, applied within enterprise governance, are advantageous.
