Job summary

Evolution Singapore is seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Project Manager to drive data platform and data warehouse migration initiatives. You will gather requirements, translate them into user stories, and coordinate cross-functional teams across Data, Technology, Finance, and vendors.

The role focuses on end-to-end delivery, governance, and ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality. Strong stakeholder management and SDLC/Agile knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, or a combined BA/PM role, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Hands-on experience in data platform and/or data warehouse migration projects.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, migration, validation, reconciliation, testing, and cutover.
• Good understanding of data management, data platforms, data warehouses, system integration, and reporting.
• Experience coordinating with Data Engineering, Architecture, Technology, Business, and Finance teams.
• Proven skills in requirements gathering, functional specifications, process analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, data validation, defect management, and implementation activities.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.

• Facilitate requirements workshops, data and solution discussions, and cross-functional meetings to drive alignment and resolve gaps.
• Analyse existing data processes, systems, and workflows, identifying gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with data engineering, architecture, application, and infrastructure teams.
• Manage project scope, requirements changes, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items across multiple workstreams.
• Coordinate project planning, milestones, deliverables, resources, and stakeholder expectations to support timely delivery.
• Support project governance activities, including status reporting, meeting coordination, documentation, and progress tracking.
• Coordinate data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, migration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate SIT, data validation, reconciliation, and UAT activities, including test planning, defect tracking, and resolution.
• Assess migration readiness and support cutover planning, implementation coordination, and post-migration validation.
• Identify and escalate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies that may affect scope, timelines, or quality.
• Ensure deliverables align with data governance standards, security controls, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare project documentation, functional specifications, meeting materials, and progress updates for stakeholders and senior management.

• Proven experience coordinating project delivery, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, data validation, defect management, and implementation activities.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Good understanding of banking technology environments, data governance, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Confident in facilitating discussions and presenting project updates, risks, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work in complex project environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
• PMP certification would be an advantage.
