Business Analyst, OSS, Global Marine Operations

Minimum qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5 years of experience in program management.

Preferred qualifications:

1. 5 years of experience in managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
2. 5 years of experience in supporting network operations in Business Operations, Data Analysis, or systems development.
3. Experience in Network Operations, Operations support systems (OSS) Systems and Google Cloud Software implementation.
4. Experience in software development or coding, operating systems, database structures, data extraction and related operational processes.
5. Experience in data analytics, process development and design based on data motivated insights.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

1. Create clear and compelling dashboards and reports and present data insights to diverse audiences.
2. Develop processes and improve operations translating business requirements into data analysis projects.
3. Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, assisting in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
4. Be responsible for establishing data analysis processes related to network risk and performance information.
