Business Analyst I 12 Months Contract I MNC Tech

About the Role

The Business Analyst / Data Specialist (12 Months Contract) for our client empowers data-driven decision-making and seamless collaboration across product and functional teams to accelerate product scaling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute Quantitative Data Management
   • Extract and clean raw data from existing databases using SQL.
   • Build standardized spreadsheets and interactive dashboards (e.g., Superset) to validate product hypotheses during the concept stage.
2. Support Non-Quantitative Data Collection
   • Conduct competitive analysis through manual research.
   • Develop lightweight methodologies for gathering small-sample data.
3. Deliver Hypothesis Validation & Insights
   • Analyze and validate product hypotheses from Product Managers.
   • Present findings and actionable insights to key stakeholders.
4. Support Cross-Team Collaboration
   • Document data processes and establish data integrity checks.
   • Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, design, and supply teams to ensure alignment.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis or product support roles.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong SQL skills (complex queries, joins, aggregation).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Superset preferred).
  • Spreadsheet automation skills (Google Sheets/Excel).
• Operational Mindset:
  • Ability to seek optimal data approaches under high-pressure scenarios.
  • Proactive in identifying operational inefficiencies.
• Collaboration Skills:
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adapt quickly to evolving priorities and project needs.
• Basic proficiency in Python or R for data cleaning.
• Background in product operations or product analytics.
• Strong competitor/market research capabilities.
