A global shipping leader is seeking an EDI Manager to oversee and enhance the Electronic Data Interchange system. This role entails working on data mapping, supporting partner onboarding, and ensuring smooth data exchange. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 6 to 8 years of experience in EDI applications within the logistics sector. Competitive salary and growth opportunities available.
You will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company’s Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system, a critical application in the shipping domain. The role involves working across both the front-end, which handles data mapping and communication protocols (IBM ITX, SBI, MQ), and the back-end, which manages business data and integration rules via legacy Oracle databases and modern Transportation Management Systems.
You will analyze shipping-specific EDI requirements, facilitate the onboarding and maintenance of EDI partners, and act as a key link between business teams and technical implementation to ensure efficient and accurate data exchange.
