Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our team supporting our client’s Corporate Credit team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, translating business requirements into detailed user stories for the development of credit applications. This role requires a deep understanding of corporate credit processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders from both business and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Gathering:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into comprehensive user stories

User Story Development:

  • Develop clear and concise user stories with acceptance criteria that can be used to scope, estimate efforts, design, and develop credit applications.
  • Prioritize user stories based on business value and technical feasibility.

Collaboration with Technology Teams:

  • Work with IT teams to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and user stories.
  • Participate in solution design discussions to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Able to translate business requirements into technical requirements and stories.
  • Assist in the estimation of development efforts and project timelines.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as a liaison between business and technology teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather requirements and update stakeholders on project progress.

Testing and Validation:

  • Support the testing phase by defining test cases and validating that developed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Assist in the identification and resolution of defects and issues.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the corporate credit space.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking industry, preferably in the corporate credit or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of working with business and technology teams to deliver successful projects.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in creating user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of corporate credit processes, credit risk, and financial analysis.
