Position Summary

The Business Analyst is a member of the Products & Engineering – Business Analyst team in NETS Solutions and will report to the Project Manager. He/ She will be responsible as liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure clear understanding and alignment for the products to be build or enhance. Assist in future products improvement by analyzing data to identify trends, market needs, and areas for enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for conducting requirement elicitation sessions with the users
  • Ensure the user requirements and functional changes are documented clearly and concisely
  • Ensure proper sign-off of requirement specifications
  • Conduct regular interactions with the technical team, providing necessary & essential knowledge transfer of the user expectations.
  • Preparation of User Manuals and project documentation
  • Preparation of training materials and conduct training to internal and external parties
  • Provide support to internal and external parties during the various testing stages
  • Manage incident reported by users; analyse user/tester reported incidents and provide appropriate response or follow-up actions with the technical teams.
  • Conduct testing activities i.e. prepare test plan, prepare and update traceability matrix, generate test cases, perform test execution, review test results and generate test report.
  • Manage, track and ensure proper closure of defects detected during testing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 3-5 years of working experience in the payment industry. Hands-on experience with various stages of the product lifecycle, including requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and validation
  • Good understanding and experience in project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is necessary
  • Must have experience in conducting requirement workshops, requirements gathering and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Testing and Defect Management tools
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and
  • Comfortable in conducting presentations and training
  • Demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Domain knowledge and experience in financial/payments industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, developing test cases, executing tests, and reporting test results is an advantage
