What the role is:

As a Business Analyst, you will work in Ministry of Law as a key member of the project team by supporting digital transformation initiatives.You will collaborate with fellow project managers, business analysts, solution architects and applications infrastructure engineers to deliver leading-edge digital solutions. You are a pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good tech/digital knowledge and possess strong influencing and people handling skills. You are constantly looking for new ways to apply digital technologies to meet the Ministry and citizen/business needs.

What you will be working on:

What to Expect:• Partner with the business teams to elicit citizen/business needs through human-centric, visual methods such as service journeys and develop the appropriate business case, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals and objectives.• Work with project teams to develop user stories, functional/technical specifications and acceptance criteria• Evaluate and recommend suitable technology to integrate with existing systems and Whole-of-Government (WoG) components/services, e.g. SG Tech Stack.• Ensure system or product readiness for smooth deployment, adoption and operations• Analyse impact of requested changes and propose improvements to continuously address changing business needs• Work with project teams on data integration, data migration and continuous delivery strategies• Provide solution blueprinting and map D365 SaaS features to business requirements, ensuring alignment with CRM and D365 SaaS best practices.

What we are looking for:

How to Succeed:• Education in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or related subject area with minimum 5 years of relevant experience.• Prior working experience in IT business analysis, application solutioning design and testing• Participated in at least one full software or product development cycle, preferably using Agile Methodology• Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills• Good communication skills with the ability to articulate technology concepts to customers/business stakeholders• A driven and motivated personality with an inquisitive mind• Experience with D365 SaaS Platform will be a plus.Preferred Skills:• Business Analysis certification, e.g. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)• Agile methodology certifications, e.g. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Product Owner (CSPO)• Past development or consulting experience Knowledge or experience in implementing projects in Agile Methodologies, Cloud, Case Management, Customer Relationship Management, Knowledge Management and/or Service Design• Good understanding of user experience design, web functions and standards, and web application development including security principles.• Experience with Web Applications and programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, APIs• Certifications related to D365 SaaS is a plusSuccessful candidates will be appointed on a 1-year contract in the first instance.
