Activate Interactive Singapore invites a Business Analyst to join our Co-Development unit on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You'll engage with stakeholders to capture and refine business and functional requirements, translate them into user stories, and support Agile delivery from backlog refinement to validation.

You will drive process improvements, collaborate with architects and product teams, and help ensure our digital solutions meet business objectives while adapting to evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Certifications in BA/Agile/PM/Process Improvement advantageous.
• Experience in digital/digital transformation projects is a plus.

What the officer will be doing?

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Engage stakeholders to understand business goals, pain points, operational challenges, and policy requirements
• Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
• Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders

Process Improvement & Solution Design

• Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation
• Assess the impact of proposed changes on business operations, systems, users, and policies
• Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to design practical and scalable solutions
• Recommend improvements that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and service outcomes

Product & Delivery Support

• Work closely with Product Managers and delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support Agile delivery by managing and refining product backlogs and requirements
• Clarify business requirements during development and assist teams in resolving requirement-related issues
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives and user needs

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria
• Coordinate and support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate that system functionality meets agreed business requirements
• Support defect triage and resolution activities

Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with business, operations, and technology stakeholders
• Support implementation planning, business readiness, training, and adoption activities
• Communicate project progress, issues, risks, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders
• Facilitate discussions to achieve alignment across multiple stakeholder groups

Post-Implementation & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor solution performance and user feedback after implementation
• Identify enhancement opportunities and support continuous product improvement
• Work with support and operations teams to investigate and address production issues
• Contribute to lessons learnt and best practices across projects

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Relevant certifications in Business Analysis, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or Process Improvement will be advantageous

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business analysis, digital transformation, product delivery, or system implementation
• Experience working on software or digital product development projects
• Experience in Agile delivery environments will be advantageous
• Experience in Government or large-scale enterprise systems is preferred

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and product development practices
