Job description

We are seeking a talented and driven Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery for our digital banking platform in a fast-paced Agile environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Elicit, analyse, specify and validate the business needs of stakeholders, transforming them into detailed user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and changes on the digital banking platform
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers and architects to ensure technical solutions fully meet business requirements
• Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Refinements, Retrospectives, etc.)
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) testing process for digital banking applications
• Execute functional, regression, integration and sanity testing in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Identify, document, track and manage defects meticulously using JIRA or a similar bug-tracking tool, working with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Utilize tools like Squash for test management to ensure traceability and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a combined Business Analyst and Test Engineer role, preferably in banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with testing digital banking platforms (e.g. online banking, mobile apps, payment systems)
• Proven background in Agile environments with frequent release cycles (e.g. monthly deliveries)
• Expertise in writing clear and concise test scenarios, test cases and defect reports
• Experience with test management tools, preferably Squash TM
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
• Exceptional problem-solving ability and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
