• As a Business Analyst, you will be involved in the software development life cycle and agile methodology from project initiation, requirements gathering, application development, implementation, maintenance, and post-implementation review phases.
• The broad area of your role covers the following responsibilities:
• Extensive liaising with external and internal clients and vendors;
• Leading design thinking sessions and requirements discussions with customers; conducting requirement analysis to ensure feasibility of functional specifications; highlighting requirement gaps, technical challenges, and other issues;
• Translating users’ requirements into use cases and technical solutions;
• Presenting and communicating functional requirements and use cases to technical and development teams to ensure system meets requirements;
• Optional - Defining system-level application architecture, high-level and detailed design, architectural policies, implementation risks, and mitigation measures;
• Engaging customers to explain architectural choices and technical issues;
• Preparing documentation such as requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, data and application management frameworks, interfacing, infrastructure requirements, and data migration approaches; working closely with customers for review and sign-off;
• Preparing system training programs and conducting training sessions for customers;
• Developing test plans, test cases, and recording results to ensure coverage and traceability to requirements;
• Performing functional and backend testing, reviewing logs, resolving issues, and ensuring application quality;
• Conducting test briefings to stakeholders and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Troubleshooting system issues faced by the project team and customers, following up until resolution;
• Conducting change impact analysis on customer requests within change management processes;
• Collaborating with local and offshore teams to deliver projects on technical aspects;
• Preparing solutions and proposals for pre-sales activities.

Requirements:

• Experience working in the banking domain;
• Degree in Computer Science and Engineering;
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst and tester, with Java environment experience preferred;
• Strong analytical skills and persistence in issue resolution;
• Experience in issue/problem and change management processes;
• Ability to analyze system backend logs and perform data mapping and categorization;
• Proficiency in functional and backend testing with traceability to requirements;
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude, creative, with excellent presentation, writing, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including persuasive techniques and attention to detail;
• Development skills in Java environment, familiarity with Jira and SQL advantageous;
• Able to work under tight deadlines and committed to project completion;
• Strong customer service orientation and good presentation skills;
• A good team player.
