JOB PURPOSE

The Business Analyst is responsible for improving the quality of PEDRO’s IT products and services, analyzing data to guide business decisions, and identifying technological solutions to meet business needs, among other responsibilities. This role requires a strong background in both information technology and business administration. The individual will act as a liaison between the IT department and PEDRO’s business units, serving as a key information source and communicator between business units and support departments.

RESPONSIBILITES

Data Management and Data-Driven Innovation

  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and facilitate successful deployment/ integration of systems, software etc. to PEDRO’s Group Data Model
  • Collaborate with the technical team and business users to ensure that technological solutions are delivered in accordance with the agreed specifications and on a timely basis
  • Develop document(s) and enforce data governance SOPs to ensure internal and external data collected meet high quality and timeliness standards
  • Conduct training to business users on enhancements/new projects, and provide post-implementation support to business users
  • Identify data collection or data quality improvement opportunities, collaborate with IT and key stakeholders to execute new data initiatives, and work towards increasing PEDRO’s data quality and report accuracy
  • Evaluate and recommend suitable technology while aligning with PEDRO’s Data and Digital Strategy (such as cloud-based/enterprise architecture and modernization of legacy systems, etc.)

Business Reporting and Analysis

  • Design interactive visualization dashboards and reports for data exploration, performance tracking, as well as to support and inform business units/teams in their decision-making process
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and derive solutions via a data-driven approach
  • Support business forecasting and evaluation processes, and ensure cross-functional departments have access to up-to-date data to facilitate their business planning process
  • Oversee and streamline BI reporting across the Group for clear visualization and easy navigation

Drive Digital and Data Culture

  • Drive adoption and implementation of digital tools and capabilities across Pedro Group
  • Develop solutions to increase ease of data accessibility and navigation for all users
  • Create digital materials for self-learning and conduct training workshops to elevate digital and data competencies for all

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in Fashion/Retail industry
  • Proficient in M365 Suite and PowerBI; Good knowledge in Python, VBA, and SQL
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
  • Concise and articulate in written and spoken communication
  • Pleasant disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
