The role

At Zühlke, we believe in delivering purposeful digital solutions that create real impact. As a Functional Business Analyst, you will act as the critical bridge between business goals and technical execution. You will work closely with stakeholders across business and engineering teams, using your domain understanding and problem-solving mindset to shape functional solutions that enable digital transformation. Candidates with experience in Salesforce or ServiceNow will be prioritised.

How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Gather, define, and translate business needs into clear functional requirements.
2. Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and user story mapping sessions.
3. Create and manage artefacts such as Epics, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and process flows.
4. Support Agile delivery teams by clarifying business rules, validating feasibility, and ensuring alignment on objectives.
5. Evaluate and recommend functional solutions aligned with enterprise systems and architecture.
6. Collaborate with architects and developers to understand system behavior and legacy codebases (as needed) to inform functional requirements.
7. Use tools such as SQL and light ETL processes to support data validation and reporting needs.
8. Manage and prioritise the product backlog to ensure focus on business value and user needs.
9. Identify improvement opportunities and support change impact analysis and adoption plans.
10. Support leadership in identifying areas for digital process enhancement and service optimisation.

What’s Important to Us

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, including functional solution design and stakeholder engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work in Agile environments, with strong familiarity with Scrum, Lean, and iterative delivery.
• Proven track record working with enterprise platforms – Salesforce and/or ServiceNow experience is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of systems integration and business process modelling.
• Comfort working with both business and technical stakeholders to align on shared goals.
• Ability to interpret system behaviors or legacy code (with support) to extract relevant business logic.
• Familiarity with SQL and light data tasks to support requirements validation or reporting.
• Clear communicator with strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in digital transformation or government-related projects is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP or equivalent are advantageous.
