Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Business Analyst who will work closely with clients to identify business problems and translate them into effective solutions. Responsibilities include conducting user requirements analysis, delivering functional designs, and supporting user training. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and communication skills, with at least three years of relevant experience in IT consulting or system implementation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Consulting or IT system implementation.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and resourcefully.
  • Proficient in UAT, training, and application support.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and translate them into requirements.

Job description

The Role:

In this role as Business Analyst, you will be responsible for to work with clients’ to identify customer business problems, elicit user requirements and find the most effective solution. You will work closely within a project team throughout the development life cycle to ensure the resultant solution meets business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and translate them into requirements specifications or user stories
  • Conduct user requirement scoping, and analysis, involving functional, integration, and non-functional requirements
  • Work closely with technical solution teams to assess feasibility, propose solution options and recommendation to address business and operational needs
  • Deliver functional design including workflow analysis, prototypes, business logic flowchart and interface mapping
  • Provide requirement and functional design clarifications to delivery team members throughout the delivery process
  • Plan and conduct internal UAT based on business workflow and user scenarios
  • Plan and conduct training to end users, and internal support teams as required
  • Support post-production deployment verification for any product feature release

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Consulting or IT system implementation experience
  • Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Configuration & Development, SIT, UAT, Training, Go-Live Support and Application support to users
  • Excellent analytical skills, able to understand and articulate business problem statement and use cases concisely
  • Self-motivated and able to take direction and work resourcefully and independently
  • Have good communication and writing skills
  • Be able and willing to understand new technologies quickly
