Job summary

OCTAVO PTE. LTD. seeks a senior data analytics leader to drive business intelligence, data mining, and model-based decision support for core strategies. You will distill metrics, build monitoring systems, and partner with cross-functional teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, and Technology.

Travel is required to support international projects; fluent English and Chinese are essential for cross-border collaboration and stakeholder communication.

Job description

Business Insight and Decision Support: Conduct in-depth mining of business data, distill key business metrics, and establish data analysis models and monitoring systems to provide high-quality, data-driven support for the company’s core strategies and business decisions.

Cross-Border Business Support and Travel: Support the company’s international strategic footprint by traveling to relevant countries and regions to facilitate the implementation of overseas projects and business integration.

China Market Analysis: Leverage a deep understanding of the Chinese market and business environment to conduct industry trend research, competitor analysis, and user behavior profiling, thereby assisting in the expansion and optimization of the company’s operations in the Greater China region or within China-related business lines.

Business Collaboration and Execution: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (including Product, Operations, Marketing, and Technology) to ensure the effective implementation and practical application of data analysis insights.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree or higher (degrees in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or related fields are preferred).

Work Experience: 8+ years of experience in business data analysis, data mining, or Business Intelligence (BI), with a proven ability to lead projects independently or mentor teams.

Market Experience: In-depth knowledge of the market, supported by practical project experience; familiarity mainstream business ecosystems, user habits, and data analysis frameworks.

Willingness to Travel: Ability to adapt to international travel requirements, with strong cross-cultural adaptability and a global perspective.

Core Competencies: Exceptional data sensitivity, logical reasoning, and complex problem-solving skills; high professional integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.

Language Skills: Excellent proficiency in both English and Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to facilitate seamless cross-border and cross-departmental communication.
