Job summary

A leading global trading enterprise in Singapore is seeking a proactive Sales Support Executive to assist the sales team with order management, customer interactions, and logistics coordination. Ideal candidates should hold a diploma in Business Administration and have 1–3 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with international trade processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is preferred, along with the ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.

Job description

Our client is a multi-billion-dollar enterprise with over two decades of proven success in the global import-export industry. Renowned for their leadership in trading premium building and construction-related products, they have established a strong international presence and a reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation.

To support their expanding business, they are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive to join the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and coordination support to the sales team to ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Prepare and manage sales orders, quotations, proforma invoices, shipping documents, and export/import documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin).
  • Liaise closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal logistics teams to coordinate shipment and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, order status, and sales data in the system.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock planning and reporting.
  • Handle client inquiries, provide after-sales service, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with Chinese-speaking clients and partners to facilitate clear communication and timely updates.
  • Support the preparation of sales reports, forecasts, and documentation for internal review.
  • Assist in the organization of trade shows, exhibitions, and other marketing activities as needed.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a sales support, logistics, or trading role, preferably within the import/export sector.
  • Strong familiarity with international trade documentation and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
