Team Structure

The Firm's in-house legal function is headed by the General Counsel and comprises a Business Acceptance team and the Risk Management team; the Firm is looking to further grow and support these functions.

This role will primarily provide administrative assistance to the Business Acceptance team, supporting the Singapore and APAC regions. Due to the global structure of the firm, there may be occasional duties for other offices in different time zones, such as during UK bank holidays in London.

This position is suitable for someone seeking a second career opportunity or with some exposure to compliance, such as a legal EA or company secretarial assistant. It may also appeal to individuals in compliance analyst roles or similar in professional services aiming to progress.

Main Responsibilities

This varied role will support the Senior Compliance Manager and Business Acceptance Manager with:

  • Arranging training sessions (checking calendars, booking rooms)
  • Assisting with escalations for non-compliance
  • Maintaining intranet pages
  • Monitoring declaration questionnaires and following up as needed
  • Taking minutes during meetings
  • Coordinating Outside Counsel terms and Blackbook
  • Reviewing new client groupings weekly
  • Managing information barrier reviews annually
  • Conducting AML reviews for long-term clients
  • Reviewing closed and general advice files
  • Supporting other business acceptance tasks as required

Our roles are often hybrid, combining office and remote work. We are open to discussing flexible arrangements during the application and interview process.
