Job summary

ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Bus Body Repair Technician to perform major and minor body repairs, panel beating, windscreen replacement and refurbishment, ensuring workmanship meets industry standards. You will conduct quality checks and adhere to safety guidelines throughout the repair process.

Ideal candidates hold relevant vehicle mechanics certificates, have at least 2 years in bus repair, can work independently, and possess knowledge of automotive parts.

Qualifications

• Certificates in Vehicle Mechanical and Engineering or related discipline.
• Nitec 2/3 motor or Vehicle Mechanic.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience in bus building and repair industry.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of efficiency.
• Familiar with automotive parts will be an added advantage.
• Possession of a class 4 driving license will be added advantages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bus repairs works including major accident repair, minor repair such as water/air leak and body repairs such as repair and replace panels, windscreen and etc.
• Perform bus body repair works, including panel beating, dent removal and structural restoration.
• Repair and replace bus components such as panels, windscreens, door and related body parts.
• Bus grooming/refurbishment works that includes welding/sanding/polishing works
• Conduct quality checks throughout the repair process to ensure accuracy and precision. Inspect finished work for adherence to industry standards and customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Responsible for personal and safety of others in accordance to workplace safety and health act.
• Assist and perform other related duties when assigned by reporting superior.
• Attend to ad-hoc bus repair jobs at bus depots

Education

Certificates in Vehicle Mechanical and Engineering or related discipline
