Job description

Responsibilities

  • Gather and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy prior to analysis.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and calculate KPIs to evaluate team and departmental performance.
  • Deliver timely and regular analytical reports to support management in strategic decision-making.
  • Supply key bunker-related data to other departments and serve as a coordinator and facilitator during meetings.
  • Support daily bunker operations, including entering the monthly bunker plan into relevant systems.
  • Liaise with vessels and stakeholders to confirm bunkering arrangements and respond to urgent bunker-related issues.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Prior seafaring experience as an Assistant Engineer (1st/2nd/3rd); higher ranks and experience on container vessels are advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of shipping operations and bunkering procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong critical thinking and concise reporting abilities.
  • Effective interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills to engage with global stakeholders.
