**Job Overview**
The Bulk Commodities Trader drives the trading of bulk commodities, including petrochemical products, refined oil, fuel oil, petroleum refining by-products and steam coal. This role involves analyzing market trends, developing trading strategies, optimizing business processes, managing risks, and boosting profitability in a dynamic global market.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Execute international trade in bulk including without limitation petrochemical products, refined oil, fuel oil, petroleum refining by-products and steam coal, ensuring high operational standards, safety, and expansion of product lines and markets.
- Adhere to company policies on credit, payments, and risk control; monitor market dynamics and price risks to minimize business exposure.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to arrange shipping, monitor transport dynamics, and optimize logistics costs per commercial terms.
- Resolve trade-related disputes promptly and effectively.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and product data to inform strategic trading decisions.
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in international trade, or a related business field.
- Minimum of 5 years in international trading or operations; experience with leading commodity trading firms preferred.
- Sharp market insight and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English as the primary working language; proficiency in Chinese is highly desirable.
