Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions a future-ready built environment for Singapore. We seek resourceful, energetic individuals to play an active role in transforming Singapore’s built environment. Successful candidates will be offered contract employment.

You will contribute to digital transformation efforts, collaborate with practitioners and research institutions, and help develop industry-wide digital solutions to regulatory functions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or construction-related discipline.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Able to work independently as well as effectively as a team and posses eagerness to learn.
• At least 3 years of experience in an architectural, engineering and/or construction firms or a development of large project
• Experience with change management, process improvement, or strategic planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, presentation skills.
• Proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to navigate complex organisational dynamics and work towards delivering tangible outcomes.
• Knowledge or experience in openBIM format and a keen interest in digital technology would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Champion and drive digital transformation for the built environment industry.
• Collaborate with industry practitioners, technology providers and research institutions to adopt latest digital technology and develop solutions to support the built environment.
• Manage pilot projects as well as assess and evaluate the implementation of the various new and emerging technologies.
• Support the formulation and implementation of industry-wide digital solutions to support regulatory functions.
• Developing practice guides/standards to guide the preparation of submissions.
