A leading facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, ensuring safety measures are adhered to, and assisting with inventory management. The ideal candidate should have NITEC in engineering, with a team-oriented approach and readiness for physical tasks within a structured work schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
This position responsible for the general maintenance of the facilities. Ensuring facilities' equipment, gadgets and instruments are maintained at optimal functioning level at all times. Duties include maintaining a safe environment within the facilities such as managing visitors' entrance and departure, ensuring safe and smooth traffic flow.
Conduct general repair and maintenance of premises and equipment
Prepare and arrange rooms in the facilities for different functions
Assist in assets movement and labelling of assets
Ensure the key facilities are functional and trigger external maintenance when needed Report to the Reporting Officer of any equipment malfunction or breakdown
Assist in inventory management
Man the Fire Command Centre, CCTV monitoring system, fire safety alarm system and attend to security issues
Participate as member of the facilities' Fire Safety Committee and support Operations to attend to any fire haze
Ensure that safety precautions are taken in the course of work
Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Min NITEC/Higher NITEC in engineering with 1 year of related experience
Good team player
Role requires regular physical tasks such as heavy lifting and carrying
Comfortable with staggered working arrangement, inclusive of weekends and public holidays (5 work days per week).
