Job summary

5G-Starlink Pte. seeks a building supervisor responsible for overseeing custodial operations in an elementary or administrative setting. You will supervise custodial staff and coordinate cleaning, maintenance, operation, and security tasks.

This role also oversees the custodial training program for assigned staff and requires strong English reading and writing, plus the ability to train and inspect workers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in public building custodial operations, with at least 1 year in oversight/supervision of custodial staff.
• Must complete FCPS Custodial Certification within 1 year of appointment.
• Evening or night shift may be required on a regular or rotating basis.
• Knowledge of custodial methods, materials, and equipment handling.
• Ability to train, assign, supervise, and inspect staff.
• Ability to read, write, understand, follow, and repeat directions in English.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with school personnel, students, and the public.

Qualifications

Required

• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
• Two (2) years of experience with public building custodial operations, with at least one (1) year of which shall have been experience in an oversight or supervision capacity of custodial personnel.
• Must successfully complete the FCPS Custodial Certification Course prior to or within one (1) year of appointment.
• May be required to work an evening and/or night shift on a regular or rotating basis.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, and practices used in custodial work and in the proper use and care of equipment.
• Ability to train, assign, supervise, and inspect the work of employees.
• Ability to read, write, understand, follow, and repeat oral and written directions in English.
• Ability to maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with school personnel, students, and the general public.
