Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory PTE. LTD. is seeking a Building Services Technician for a hotel site at Bugis, Singapore. The role involves hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, lighting and air-conditioning systems, plus basic carpentry and repairs to guest room facilities.

You will work 6 days a week from 9:00am to 6:00pm, performing routine inspections, responding to maintenance requests, and assisting with contractors as needed in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general maintenance work.
• Hotel/building maintenance experience is an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot basic maintenance problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily maintenance and repair works of the hotel.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing and general repair works.
• Troubleshoot and repair lights, power points, switches and fixtures.
• Assist with basic air-conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Attend to plumbing issues such as leaks, taps and drains.
• Maintain guest room facilities like locks, hair dryers and heaters.
• Carry out minor patching, painting and ceiling repairs as needed.
• Check and maintain hotel equipment and pumps.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from rooms and departments.
• Assist Maintenance Technician/Contractor with repair works.
• Conduct routine inspections and report defects or safety issues.
• Maintain tools and work areas; assist with emergency maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily maintenance and repair works of the hotel.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing and general repair works.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing lights, power points, switches and other electrical fixtures.
• Assist with basic air-conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Attend to plumbing issues such as leaking pipes, taps, toilets and clogged drains.
• Assist with repair and maintenance of guest room facilities, including door locks, hair dryers, water heaters and other equipment.
• Carry out minor patching, painting and ceiling repair works when required.
• Check and maintain hotel equipment, pumps and other building facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and hotel departments.
• Assist the Maintenance Technician/Contractor with repair and servicing works.
• Conduct routine inspections and report any defects or safety issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment and maintenance work areas in good condition.
• Assist with emergency maintenance works when required.
• Perform other maintenance duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Requirements
