Building Services Lead (M&E)

Job Description

1. Project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Employer expectation.
2. Responsible for analysing, managing and tracking project costs against budget.
3. Manage in-house MEP design works, including basic design, detailed design, shop drawing and BIM coordination.
4. Responsible for coordination with architecture, C&S and Process, ICA and other trades.
5. Attend technical and site coordination meetings with Employer, Consultants, Main Contractor and other contractors.
6. Assess and resolve any technical or site issues related to M&E works with Consultants and Employer.
7. Responsible for construction activities by in-house installation teams, site safety, arrange timely delivery of M&E equipment and materials.
8. Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC.
9. Handover of completed work activities with as-built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients in a timely manner, ensuring delivery with desired quality standards and safety aspects.
10. Participate in tender preparation for new projects.

Requirements

1. Min Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with Building Service M&E background.
2. Min 8 years of relevant Singapore-based working experience in the building construction industry.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD.
4. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
5. Tender bidding and project cost analytical and critical thinking.
6. Problem-solving skills.
7. Proactive and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
8. Creativity & adaptability.
9. Interpersonal and communication skills & leadership.
10. QP/PE, Green Mark manager or other BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification is an advantage.
