Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Construction Cost Controller to lead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for building projects.

You will establish cost control systems, track budgets and changes, review vendor claims, and support audits to ensure compliance with contracts and company standards. With 2–5 years in cost control on construction projects and proficiency in Excel and reporting tools, you will help deliver projects within budget while maintaining audit readiness

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 2–5 years of cost control or commercial experience on construction projects.
• Experience in budget control, forecasting, progress payments, and variation management.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and commercial principles.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the Project Cost Control system.
• Develop and maintain the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
• Track original budget, approved changes, committed costs, actual costs, and forecasts.
• Prepare and update EAC and ETC; identify variances and risks.
• Review contractor progress claims for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support cashflow forecasts and periodic cost reports for stakeholders.
• Assist in final account reconciliation and cost close-out.
