Job summary

Z GREEN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Building Painter to carry out painting and finishing works on various construction and renovation projects.

The candidate should be skilled in surface preparation, paint application, finishing works, and the safe use of painting tools and equipment. You will prepare surfaces, apply paints, repair imperfections, maintain tools, and work safely at heights.

Qualifications

• Relevant working experience as a Building Painter or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of paints, coatings, painting tools, and application techniques.
• Able to perform physically demanding work and work at heights.
• Good attention to detail and workmanship.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, public holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces before painting.
• Remove old paint by scraping, sanding, or other suitable methods.
• Repair cracks, holes, and uneven surfaces using appropriate materials.
• Mix and match paints to achieve the required colour, texture, and finish.
• Apply paint, primer, varnish, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Set up and work safely on ladders and scaffolding when required.
• Protect floors, fixtures, furniture, and surrounding areas during painting works.
• Perform touch-ups and ensure completed work meets required quality standards.
• Clean and maintain painting tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and site requirements.
• Carry out other painting and general site duties assigned by the supervisor.
