Building Maintenance Technician
Job description
- Assist with site walkthroughs and coordination with tenants contractors for unit setup, renovation, and reinstatement works.
- Carry out routine upkeep and minor repair tasks for building systems including HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing, and sanitary fittings.
- Perform scheduled servicing of kitchen hood filters, specifically for F&B tenants.
- Conduct regular checks on public and back-of-house areas to identify and report maintenance issues such as power trips, leaks, or cooling faults.
- Monitor and update maintenance logs, weekly building condition reports, and monthly inspection records.
- Check and maintain fire safety equipment including extinguishers, hose reels, and dry risers to ensure compliance and readiness.
- Support landlords team on repair and upkeep works of shared facilities and systems.
- Assist in overnight maintenance works, such as equipment replacements or major system upgrades, when needed.
Requirements:
- Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a commercial environment.
- Practical knowledge of building systems such as M&E, ACMV, plumbing, and basic AV support.
- A team player with a positive attitude, who is comfortable working overtime when needed.
