Job summary

RECRUITMENT SUPPORT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant in Singapore, based at Bendemeer. The role involves routine maintenance, carpentry, painting, plumbing and basic electrical work to keep interior and exterior areas in good condition.

You will conduct regular inspections, respond to maintenance requests, assist with preventative programmes and maintain records. The position requires 3 years of related experience and a core trade certificate, with a 5½ day work week.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or related field.
• Core trade certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to read manuals, blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance including cleaning, carpentry, painting, minor repairs and upkeep of interior/exterior areas.

Job description

Building Maintenance Assistant

Working Venue: Bendemeer

Basic salary: $2500-$3000

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (5 1/2 days)

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance , including cleaning, general carpentry, painting, minor repairs, and general upkeep of building interior and exterior areas
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues, safety hazards, and repair requirements
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders efficiently
• Assist with preventative maintenance programmes to ensure facilities and equipment remain in good working condition
• Carry out basic installation and repair of fixtures, fittings, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical works under supervision
• support the maintenance of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system as required
• maintain and organise maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
• Record maintenance activities and report issues requiring follow-up
• Comply with workplace safety regulations and collaborate with team members and contractors to complete maintenance works effectively

• Collaborate with other team members to complete maintenance projects efficiently and on schedule
• Supporting the maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems under supervision
