A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operational maintenance of building systems. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in civil/building systems. Responsibilities include managing vendor performance and compliance, conducting inspections, and developing SOPs. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for this role.
? Operational Oversight & Maintenance
Oversee outsourced maintenance service providers for civil and building systems.
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure systems are functional and serviceable at all times.
Coordinate minor works and A&A projects, supporting capital replacements and building upgrades.
Assist in contract lifecycle management, including service level monitoring, vendor performance, and compliance issues.
Lead investigations of faults and failures, recommending preventive actions and improvements.
Monitor, guide, and verify vendor KPIs, performance reports, and monthly invoicing.
? Documentation & Compliance
Maintain proper documentation for contracts, checklists, and audits to meet regulatory and institutional standards.
Provide necessary records to authorities and support audits when required.
Stay aligned with NUHS Contract and Procurement policies and risk management frameworks.
?️ Policy, Risk, and SOP Management
Develop and harmonise SOPs across institutions based on SSCP and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, system failures, and legal compliance.
Review and improve FM operational processes and internal policies regularly.
? Team Support & Development
Work closely with Site Lead and Group FM in setting clear expectations and accountability.
Provide technical guidance and support to the site’s Building Trade team.
Support specialty training and knowledge-sharing sessions within the FM group.
