Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is hiring for a facilities maintenance role located at Alexandra Road.

The position requires hands-on maintenance of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems, with coordination of contractors for routine servicing and repairs. Alternating Saturdays with 5.5 workdays and 9am-6pm or 9am-1pm shifts. Minimum 2 years in building maintenance; NTC in Facilities/Electrical/Mechanical; Building Maintenance certificate an advantage.

Qualifications

• NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services.
• At least 2 years of building maintenance experience.
• Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection is an advantage.
• Experience with IFM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities with routine checks on electrical, air-conditioning, and water systems.
• Coordinate with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repairs.
• Supervise renovation vendors for smooth area transitions.
• Maintain housekeeping in AHU and switch room.
• Oversee schedules and quality repairs with cost effectiveness.
• Perform hands-on repairs for sanitary, electrical, and building works.
• Carry out fault finding for telephone lines.
• Undertake other ad hoc duties.

Job description

Basic $ 2,500 - $ 3,100 + Variable Bonus

Working location: Alexandra Road

Working Days: 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)

Working Hour: 9.00am - 6.00pm / 9.00am - 1.00pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain the facilities with routine checks on electrical, air-conditioning systems, compressed air and chilled-water systems.
• Contact and work with contractors for routine servicing and emergency repair in order to keep the building in daily operational state.
• Supervise vendors during renovation in order to ensure a smooth transition to new areas.
• Maintain good housekeeping in AHU and switch room to maintain cleanliness of equipment and site.
• Work with contractors and vendors to carry out schedules and supervise work on premises to ensure quality cost effective repairs and renovation.
• Must be able to hands on to carry out repair for sanitary and plumbing works, electrical works and building works.
• Must be able to carry out simple fault finding for telephone lines.
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NTC education in Facilities / Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services with 2 years of experience in building maintenance and facilities support.
• Certificate in Building Maintenance/Building Inspection will be an added advantage
• Experience with IFM, with hands-on skills in trouble shooting electrical fault, aircon fault, and plumbing will be a plus.
