Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a candidate for a reinsurance underwriting role in Singapore. This position involves supporting underwriting processes, managing data, and ensuring documentation compliance. Successful candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in the reinsurance industry, ideally in Treaty spaces, with proficiency in MS Office. Offers a competitive salary package including AWS and performance bonus.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the reinsurance non-life Treaty space.
  • Candidates with Treaty broking support or technical accounting background are acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-bind and post-bind underwriting support across all business classes.
  • Log and maintain policy, premium, endorsement, submission, quote, and renewal data.
  • Administer all reinsurance documentation and templates.

Skills

Our client is one of the reinsurance arms of a leading global insurer, offering reinsurance services to brokers and insurers in all major markets.

Job Responsibilities:
Support for Treaty Reinsurance Business Units:

  • Provide pre-bind and post-bind underwriting support across all business classes.
  • Work with regional offices to ensure alignment on working practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

Data Management & System of Record:

  • Log and maintain policy, premium, endorsement, submission, quote, and renewal data.
  • Update and manage databases required by Underwriters.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Administer all reinsurance documentation and templates.
  • Maintain existing templates and develop new ones as needed.

Period:

  • Permanent

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm

Salary:

  • Up to $6500 + AWS + PB

Location:

  • Cecil Street

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the reinsurance non-life Treaty space
  • Candidates with Treaty broking support or technical accounting background can be considered
  • Fast learner and eager-to-learn attitude
