We are looking for Senior and Junior Brokers to expand our energy derivatives business based in the Orchard Road area.

Job Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to develop new accounts and serve existing clients in fuel oil
• Provide pricing and brokering services to clients
• Calculate dealing prices in accordance with company policies
• Business development to attract new clients
• Manage sales and client relationships with customers and prospects
• Collaborate with all brokers on the broking desks
• Learn and understand physical cargo broking of fuel oil products and energy swap business
• Participate in on-the-job training to become a full-fledged broker (for Junior position)
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by managers

Job Requirements

• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor’s degree holder (no experience required)
• Strong people and relationship-building skills with traders
• Highly energetic, motivated, and enjoy meeting people to develop business
• Previous sales experience is preferred
• Fast learner with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Quick-witted and numerically inclined (preferably)
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good tolerance for stress in a fast-paced environment
