Job Description:

The Brokerage Officer collects and interprets data to help the company improve performance and meet goals. Their primary duties include identifying, gathering, analyzing data, and making insights accessible through graphs, charts, tables, and reports.

Job Duties
  1. Attend to post declaration enquiries from internal and external customers
  2. Analyze and investigate shipment failures to determine errors, identify possible problems, and propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  3. Communicate with different functions to correct failures
  4. Maintain and generate regular reports as required
  5. Control daily workflow and identify any failures or areas for improvement
  6. Assist in monitoring service levels and other KPIs to ensure internal targets are met
  7. Attend to customer enquiries
  8. Perform tasks as directed by management
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Customs Brokerage, or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Display excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Able to remain calm under pressure and manage customer-facing interactions
  • Ability to work as part of a team and show initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, with high integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Certificate in Customs Competency for Declarant is preferred
