As a Brand Manager, he/she is responsible for brand development, including creating brand strategies and other functions to maximise and achieve sales target.

Understand Consumers’ needs
- Be aware and fully understand consumers’ needs and wants, analyse their evolving shopping and buying patterns, merchandise feedback from consumers.
- Keep abreast with market trends and make recommendations to respond appropriately, and anticipate/forecast future trends.
Product Management
- Responsible for planning stock levels, pre-empting and responding to changes in demand and supply and logistics-related challenges.
- Work closely with relevant internal and external parties to launch new products as well as promotions which would heighten awareness for new/ existing products, rejuvenate sales for slow moving products, and drive sales for existing products.
- Review existing merchandise to ensure products and prices remain competitive.
- Assist to develop and deliver the exclusive such as applying permits for ingredients (HSA), organising quality testing, gaining information from market, organising samples for markets, ensuring on time delivery of registration documents to markets.
Sales/Profitability of Merchandise
- Explore new initiatives with relevant department to drive sales.
- Accountability for Brand’s performance & grow category sales; maximize margin to ensure profit growth.
- Manage the ROI to ensure achievement of targets for financial year.
Brand Management
- Responsible for being up-to-date with market trends and developments relevant to the brand/s that may impact marketing activities and competitive landscape.
- To drive visitation opportunities both offline and online.
- To work with marketing to ensure all marketing campaigns, materials and communication collaterals are integrated, timely, clear, consistent and accurate.
- To work closely with suppliers/vendors/principals to ensure collaboration and alignment in brand building with the aim to achieve sales and margin targets.
- To be a strong contributor, working hand-in-hand with different functions to ensure an integrated and positive experience for the customer both online and offline.
Perform any other duties assigned by management
We Are Excited About You If You Have:
- Degree in Business Management/Sales & Marketing.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in retail merchandising/product development and product marketing, attained in a fast-paced FMCG or challenging retail environment.
- Analytical, high level of numeracy, sound commercial acumen and strategic business sense.
- Highly organized, assertive with strong negotiating skills, and able to prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
- Dynamic, self-motivated, with proven leadership skills to motivate and lead a team.
- High level of drive, integrity and professionalism, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Good foresight in market trends.
- Customer and commercial focused.
- Resourceful & ability to think out of the box.
- Exceptional communication (spoken and written), time, interpersonal and people management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications.
- Prior experience in FMCG or challenging retail environment preferred.
