Job summary

Fuku on Jurong Island is hiring a Shift Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter to maintain plant machinery and boiler systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safe operations within a chemical manufacturing setting.

The role requires a Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate, 5+ years of experience in similar industries, and willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts with overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or related process industries.
• Valid Boiler Attendant Class 1 Certificate is mandatory.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Familiarity with PTW, LOTO, risk assessment and industrial workplace safety requirements.
• Experience with SAP or other CMMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on plant machinery to ensure reliability and minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and support start-up/shutdown of industrial boiler systems.
• Inspect equipment, identify faults and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO and safety procedures.
