This role requires a mix of technical expertise and functional knowledge to effectively bridge business requirements with system capabilities.Key Responsibilities: Design and Development:o Gather and analyze business requirements to create technical and functional designs for BY WMS solutions.o Develop and customize BY WMS functionalities, including MOCA commands, Integrators, Page Builder forms, Triggers, Wrappers, Jobs, Tasks, Reports, Labels, RF, Voice, and Workflows.o Write basic and complex SQL queries to support system development and troubleshooting.o Enhance existing functionalities and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Implementation and Upgrades:o Lead or participate in multiple BY WMS implementations across the globe, including configuration, testing, and deployment.o Plan and execute BY WMS upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Migration and Integration:o Manage various stages of product development, application migration, infrastructure management, and application integration.o Perform functional and technical gap analysis and recommend optimal strategies for migration and integration. Testing and Quality Assurance:o Conduct testing of client-server and web-based applications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.o Prepare test deliverables and defect logs, ensuring high-quality deployments.o Collaborate closely with development and technical support teams to resolve quality issues. Support and Maintenance:o Provide functional and technical support to clients, resolving critical incidents within SLA.o Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve system performance. Client Interaction and Documentation:o Act as the primary point of contact for clients, gathering business requirements and providing technical consultancy.o Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.o Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Process Procedures, Configuration Guides, and Functional Specifications. Team Collaboration:o Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.o Support cross-functional teams during all phases of the project lifecycle.Key Skills and Experience: Functional Expertise:o Comprehensive understanding of warehousing and supply chain principles, including inbound, outbound, inventory, and logistics processes.o Strong working knowledge of WMS components and processes.
