Job summary

RMA CONSULTANTS PTE LTD invites applications for a Production Technician in Tuas, Singapore. The role is a contract position (2+ years) with 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Key duties include end-to-end production activities, operating bioreactors and SCADA controls, in-process testing, and strict GMP/GDP compliance. Candidates should hold a related diploma and have 5+ years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in related field (Food Science/Technology, Biotech, Bioengineering, or Chemical Engineering).
• GMP/GDP knowledge preferred; ISO 22000/BRC advantageous.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience in food/biotech/fermentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end production activities: handling, fermentation, downstream processing, packing and CIP/SIP.
• Operate and monitor bioreactors, production equipment and SCADA/controls systems.
• Conduct in-process testing and process monitoring.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain equipment; support campaign activities.
• Document production and equipment activities per GMP/GDP.
• Monitor inventory, prepare shift reports, and handover notes.
• Support troubleshooting, deviations, investigations, commissioning and validation.
• Participate in 5S, Lean manufacturing and CI initiatives.
• Comply with quality, hygiene and safety requirements.
