Job summary

NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HEALTH SYSTEM PTE. LTD. seeks an engineering professional to support the lifecycle of medical equipment, including commissioning, operation, preventive maintenance, and de-commissioning across the hospital.

The role involves supervising vendors, coordinating project services, managing spares, and assisting BME engineers with fault analysis and action plans, while adhering to quality and cybersecurity awareness.

Qualifications

• Preferably a Diploma in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Positive work attitude and the ability to work with all levels of staff.
• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Possess basic knowledge on IT, such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
• Advantageous to have basic understanding in Cybersecurity and IT network knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
• Supervise the specialist vendors and contractors on maintenance works to ensure quality and standards.
• Update and collect feedback from users on maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of equipment.
• Check, analyse and investigate faults/complaints/hazards and assist engineers in action plans.
• Ensure quality of works conform to hospital standards and quality initiatives.
• Manage stock and spares for front line technical support and assist stock supervisor in documentation.
• Assist engineers in coordinating services for equipment projects with vendors and consultants.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by BME engineers.
