This role requires a minimum Higher NITEC in Bio-medical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair within healthcare settings. Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations in the hospital and guide duty technicians on bio-medical equipment matters.

• Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.

• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, technical publications and maintaining personal networks.

• Evaluates proposed biomedical equipment by conducting tests and evaluations, ensuring its safety, efficiency and effectiveness of use.

• Monitors quality assurance and risk management matters, including maintenance of high standards and acceptance testing.

• Provides a specialist resource for investigation of difficult technical problems.

• Provides coaching and technical decision guidance to appointed Managing Agent staff on communications skill, issues resolutions and customer services.

Requirements

• min. Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher NITEC) in Bio-medical Engineering discipline and above.

• 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in healthcare / hospital settings

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of hospital safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Possesses technical knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for medical devices.
